R: Redirection

This is the last letter in this series and I hope your found it useful.

We're often encouraged to make big changes when life isn't going the way we'd hoped. New goals. New routines. A whole new version of ourselves.

But sometimes the answer isn't a complete reinvention.

Sometimes it's simply recognising that the path you're on is no longer taking you where you want to go and having the courage to choose a different direction.

Have you ever realised you didn't need to start over, just take a different path?

  • 0%Yes, definitely

  • 0%Not yet

E: Experiment

You don't need certainty.

You just need to try something new and see how it works out.

Most people wait until they feel completely ready before making a change. The problem is certainty rarely arrives first. It usually comes after you've taken a step, learned something, adjusted, and kept going.

Sometimes the next chapter doesn't start with confidence.

It starts with curiosity.

T: Turning Point

Most change doesn't happen in a dramatic moment.

It happens in a small moment.

A conversation. A decision. A thought. A choice to keep going or stay where you are.

There's always a point where things could go differently. Most people walk straight past it without noticing.

When was the last time you recognised one of those moments?

  • 0%I spotted it and took it

  • 0%I spotted it but hesitated

  • 0% I only realised afterwards

  • 0%I'm waiting for mine now
