R- Reset

Hope you're having a relaxing bank holiday ☀️

Today we focus on R – Reset

You don’t need to burn your whole life down.

But something needs to change.

Most Sundays, I go for a walk. I’ve lived here for over 20 years and only just discovered this hidden gem right on my doorstep.

Being at one with nature is my reset — my headspace clears, and I feel ready again.

Yesterday, Nikki joined me. We walked, talked, laughed, and soaked up the sunshine. It was exactly what I needed.

These walks gently prepare me for the week ahead — whatever it may bring.

If you’d like to join me next time, comment “Love This.”

And the best part? There’s a lovely little pub not far from the trail where we can stop for lunch after.

None of the above is easy. It’s a gradual process. Trying to do it all at once can be overwhelming and lead to procrastination. Start small. With boundaries we often get lost because we try to explain it away which often leads to the message being diluted. Remember 'No' is a full sentence.

T - Truth

The uncomfortable part.

What’s not working?

What are you tolerating?

What have you outgrown?

This is where things start to shift.

When you work for yourself, you start off spending alot of time building your business. More often than it should, the business element consumes your life. This is also relatable when you have a demanding job. We put ourselves aside. I looked at this part of my life and created more balance. I found that creating time for me, actually made me more productive.
